As the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu is known for his dedication and passion towards serving the people of Nigeria. 

In light of his upcoming birthday on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, he humbly appeals to his dear friends, esteemed colleagues and well-wishers to take a quiet approach in celebrating this day.

With the current mood of the country, Rt hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu understands the importance of focusing on empathy, introspection, and humanitarian causes. 

Therefore, he requests for all celebrations to be kept low-key, without any extravagant displays or advertisements. Instead, he encourages his friends and allies to join him in visiting orphanages and other activities that promote kindness and generosity.

While he deeply appreciates the love and support of those around him, Rt hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu believes that this year's birthday celebrations should be focused on more pressing matters.
