Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu is currently serving as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives in Nigeria. 

He was elected into this position in June 2023 and has since then proven to be an exemplary leader, with a strong legislative prowess, a commitment to promoting equity, fairness, and justice for the Igbo people and all Nigerians.
