........𝒂𝒔 𝒓𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒏 𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒖 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 



The ground-breaking ceremony of the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Bende Abia State, comprising of 250 housing units, was a significant event that took place on Thursday, 27th of June, 2024. 

The Minister of Housing and Rural Development, Ahmed Musa Dangwa, was present to oversee the commencement of this project under the flagship of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This project, which is the first federal housing estate in Abia State, was initiated by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu. 


The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including the Governor of Abia State, who was represented by his deputy, Mr Ikechukwu Emetu. Additionally, Hon Emma Trumps Eke, the Federal Commissioner for the National Population Commission in Abia State, was also in attendance to represent the Deputy Speaker, who was on a national assignment abroad.

The Renewed Hope Housing Estate is a testament to the commitment of the government to provide affordable housing for the people of Abia State. 


With 250 housing units being constructed, this project will not only address the housing needs of the residents but also contribute to the overall
 development of the state. 

The presence of the Minister of Housing and Rural Development at the ground-breaking ceremony underscores the importance of this project in the government's agenda for rural development.

The event was a symbol of hope and progress for the people of Abia State, as it signifies the government's dedication to improving the quality of life for its citizens. 


The collaboration between the federal and state governments, as well as the support of various stakeholders, demonstrates a unified effort towards achieving sustainable development in the region.

Let me conclude by reiterating the fact that the ground-breaking ceremony of the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Abia State was a momentous occasion that marked the beginning of a new chapter in the state's development.
