The role of land mapping cannot be overstated, as it provides crucial information for decision-making processes in various sectors, such as agriculture, urban planning, and infrastructure development.

The House of Representatives, through the Deputy Speaker, also expressed its commitment to supporting the Nigerian Institute of Surveyors.

This support will come in the form of legislative interventions and collaboration to help bolster their efforts.

The government recognizes the crucial role of the NIS and its impact on the economic growth of the nation.

Therefore, it is imperative for the government and the institute to work together to overcome the challenges they face and continue to make significant contributions to the country's development.
