As the third edition of the free medical treatment hosted by Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu in conjunction with Ben Kalu Foundation came to an end, the impact on the community of Bende LGA and Abia State was immeasurable.

This year's focus was on restoring vision for thousands of people with vision impairments, and the results were nothing short of miraculous.

The beneficiaries of the free medical treatment were individuals who have been struggling with eye sight problems. Many of them had been living with limited or no vision, hindering their ability to work, study, and fully engage in daily activities.

However, thanks to the efforts of Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu and the Ben Kalu Foundation, their lives have been transformed.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Kamal and his team from Vision Savers, these individuals were able to receive eye surgeries, medications and glasses, completely free of charge.

The surgeries were performed with precision and care, resulting in restored vision for many and improved vision for others.

For those who received glasses, their world was opened up as they were now able to see clearly for the first time in years.

The free medical / eye care treatment took place at the Agbamzu Health Center in Bende Abia State.

This facility was equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed with highly trained medical professionals.

The center provided the perfect setting for the Vision Savers team to perform the surgeries and treatments with the utmost care and efficiency.

The success of this free medical treatment is a testament to the commitment and dedication of Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu and the Ben Kalu Foundation to improving the lives of the people in their community.

The impact of this event will continue to be felt for years to come as individuals who were once living with vision impairment are now able to fully participate in their communities.

Moreover, the collaboration between Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu and the Ben Kalu Foundation with Vision Savers has set a shining example for others to follow.

It has shown that with the right resources, passion, and determination, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.

Let me conclude by saying that the third edition of the free medical treatment hosted by Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu in conjunction with Ben Kalu Foundation has been a resounding success, especially for those who have had their sight restored.

This event has not only provided life-changing medical treatments but has also brought hope and joy to the hearts of those who were once living in darkness.

We look forward to the next edition and the continued impact it will have on the community.

With a heart full of compassion and a desire to make a real impact, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu spent his special day with individuals who are often forgotten and pushed to the sidelines - the handicapped, the physically challenged, students from the School of the Blind, inmates of the Motherless Babies Home, pensioniers and widows from Abia State. It is the foundation upon which a nation can thrive and reach its full potential.  In recognition of this, the Peace in South East Project, in collaboration with Xtreme Fitness with De Latinos Concept, recently activated the Sports and Entertainment pillar of the Initiative through an exhilarating road walk.  The deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, was delighted to participate in this dynamic event, which provided an opportunity for him to engage with the energetic youths of Abia State. The road walk, held on Saturday May 4th, saw a massive turnout of youths from all over Abia State.  It was a sight to behold as they marched with enthusiasm, determination, and
