The 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, has brought together parliamentarians from around the world to discuss pressing global issues and promote international cooperation. 

Nigeria's delegation, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu, arrived in Geneva to participate in this important gathering.

The presence of high-ranking officials such as Senate President Akpabio and Deputy Speaker Kalu at the IPU Assembly highlights Nigeria's commitment to engaging with the international community and addressing key challenges facing the world today.
