On Wednesday the 20th of March, the Silver Jubilee anniversary celebration of Madonna University of Nigeria's Elele Campus in Rivers State was graced by the presence of Rt hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, the distinguished deputy speaker of the house of representatives and other dignitaries. 

The event was a testament to the university's commitment to providing quality education and shaping the moral character of its students.

Rt hon Benjamin Kalu, known for his astute leadership and passion for education, commended the management of Madonna University led by Very Rev. Fr. E. M Edeh for their unwavering dedication to promoting both academic excellence and moral values. 


He lauded the institution for instilling discipline in the lives of its students, a key factor in producing well-rounded individuals who will make positive contributions to society.

In his remarks, the deputy speaker of the house of representatives emphasized the importance of actively engaging with institutions like Madonna University to address their pressing issues. 

He highlighted the role of policymakers and technological innovations in harnessing the full potential of universities as drivers of progress and prosperity. 

Rt hon Benjamin Kalu's words resonated with the audience, shedding light on the need for collaborative efforts to further advance the Nigerian education sector.

Madonna University of Nigeria, established in 1999, has emerged as a leading institution in the country, offering a diverse range of programs in various fields such as law, medicine, engineering, and education. 

The university's commitment to providing a holistic education that combines academics, ethics, and practical skills has gained recognition and earned it a spot among the top universities in Nigeria.
