Ben Kalu Wins Again


In what appeared to be an attempt to undermine the mandate of the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu, the Action Alliance had approached the Appeal Court calling for the nullification of Rep. Kalu’s election, arguing that its logo was omitted from the ballot box.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu received the news with excitement while presiding over the proceeding of the House after he received information that his election as member representing Bende Federal Constituency Abia state has been affirmed by the Appeal Court.

Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu was declared winner of the February 25 National Assembly election in the constituency by INEC, defeating PDP, Labour Party and other candidates and his victory at the polls was upheld by the elections petition tribunal sitting in Umuahia Abia State.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Kalu Rallies Support For Tinubu In Church, Assures Christians Of Inclusivity
