ZONING ARRANGEMENTS - Why South East needs to produce the next Speaker of the House of Representatives

There are several reasons why it is important for the South East zone to produce the next speaker of the House of Representatives. Firstly, it will promote fairness and equity in the distribution of political power in the country.

It will also provide an opportunity for the zone to showcase its potential and demonstrate its readiness to assume leadership responsibilities at the national level.

Finally, having a speaker from the South East zone will help to strengthen national unity and foster a sense of inclusiveness in the country. It will send a message that Nigeria is a country that values diversity and is committed to creating a level playing field for all its citizens.

It is imperative that the next speaker of the House of Representatives comes from the South East zone. This will not only promote fairness and equity in the distribution of political power but will also help to foster national unity and inclusiveness. 

It is time for the South East to take its rightful place as a major player in Nigeria's political landscape.

The south east zone has produced many great politicians and is not in short supply of men and women who can comfortably mount the saddle of leadership in the green chambers but one man stands out amongst others.
