Zoning the Speaker of the House of Representatives to the South East will represent a symbolic gesture of inclusivity and recognition of the region's political and cultural importance. 

It will also provide greater representation and accountability for the South East in the functioning of the House of Representatives. 

Here are some general benefits that the Southeast (SE) region can gain when it produces the speaker of the House of Representatives in Nigeria.

1. Increased political influence: The Southeast region will have a strong political voice and influence in the House of Representatives, which will help in pushing for policies that will benefit the region.

2. Improved representation: With the Speaker coming from the Southeast, the region will be better represented in the House of Representatives, which will help in addressing the various issues affecting the region.

3. Provision of basic infrastructure: The Speaker from the Southeast can use their position to push for improved infrastructure in the region such as roads, hospitals, railway transportation and schools.

4. Economic development: The Speaker can champion policies that will boost economic growth in the Southeast, create jobs and provide better opportunities for its citizens.

5. Promotion of national unity: The Southeast producing the speaker of the House of Representatives will promote national unity as there will be a sense of inclusiveness and belonging from all parts of the country.

The current spokesperson of the house of representatives has shown great capacity in leadership roles and he's strongly recommended to be the next Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Rep Benjamin Kalu is the member representing Bende Federal Constituency in the national assembly and he is the current spokesperson of the house of representatives.

The position of the speaker of the house of representatives has to be unanimously voted in favor of Rep Benjamin Kalu because of his wealth of experience as the spokesman of the house of representatives.

Furthermore, he has shown exceptional leadership qualities and has played a vital role in the passage of several bills and motions that have positively impacted the lives of Nigerians. 

He has also demonstrated his commitment to promoting the interest of his constituency and the country at large. 

With his strong communication skills and ability to build consensus, he has gained the trust and respect of his colleagues in the house, which makes him a suitable candidate for the position of the speaker. 

As the fourth citizen of the country, the speaker has a critical role to play in ensuring the smooth running of the legislative arm of government, and Benjamin Kalu has the competence and character needed to fulfill this responsibility.
