.......... as Bende youths declare full support for Dr Alex Otti

It was a day filled with activities on Thursday the 19th of may as ABIA ARISE, a prominent pressure group in Abia State held a state wide consultative meeting to sensitize the people of Abia State and also strategize on ways of winning the upcoming elections in Abia State.

Our correspondent who monitored the activities in Bende LGA of Abia State, witnessed the enthusiasm among bendelites as the people of Bende LGA who have been yearning for change of government expressed total delight on hearing that Dr Alex Otti was in the gubernatorial race.

The youths and the elderly who expressed total support for the candidacy of Dr Alex Otti urged delegates in Abia State to vote for Dr Alex Otti to emerge as the gubernatorial flag bearer of the All progressive congress APC in the forthcoming primaries.

The Bende LGA chairman of ABIA ARISE, Hon Lawrence Chukwunaru in his remarks, reminded the people of Bende LGA of the need to be steadfast in their resolve to support Dr Alex Otti as this will have a multiplyer effect on the total liberation of Abia State from the hands of those that have held the state for many years under subjugation, maladministration and under development caused by corruption and imposition of incompetent politicians.

The meeting which was held in Uzuakoli ward, had the Bende LGA chairman of ABIA ARISE as a special guest. His presence added color to the meeting as the visibly excited youths declared total support for Dr Alex Otti, pledging to deliver their ward in the general elections come 2023.

ABIA ARISE accommodates people from all political parties who earnestly yearns for a pragmatic leader that will bring development to Abia State and change the fortunes of abians.

In his remarks, Mr Chibuisi Ogbonnaya from Amamba Uzuakoli stated that "it has become imperative that the people of Abia State have to take their destiny in there hands and liberate Abia.

Others who commented, stressed the need to change the status quo in Abia State and break free from the circle of this continuous imposition of incompetent governor's in Abia State. 

The meeting was held in the various wards and local government areas that makes up Abia State.
