Great news! It seems like there will soon be a working vaccine for the coronavirus as Human trials are set to begin next month. Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc. said it’s accelerating the timeline for development of a vaccine to treat the coronavirus COVID-19 and expects to start human trials in the U.S. next month.Inovio is expecting to deliver 1 million doses of vaccine by year-end, using its existing resources.Meanwhile, In India, the Serum Institute of India has announced that its vaccine candidate, being developed in collaboration with a US based biotech company, will be market ready by early 2022.In fact, 115 genome sequences have been shared on the Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISA) website to fast track research.So it seems like this coronavirus will soon be a thing of the past in no time.
