Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, for his recent initiative to empower hundreds of his constituents through a poultry farming training program.  This program has provided a significant opportunity for the people of Bende to improve their livelihoods and create sustainable sources of income. The poultry farming training program, organized by Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, aimed to equip beneficiaries with the necessary skills and resources to start their own poultry businesses.  Participants were trained on best practices in poultry farming, including proper feeding, housing, and disease management techniques.  In addition to the training, each beneficiary received 25 chicks, 3 bags of p

During the just concluded 148th meeting of the IPU in Geneva, Switzerland, Rt Hon Kalu highlighted the need for the IPU to address urgent issues in Africa.  He expressed concern over the current IPU General Assembly Rule 11(2), which he believes to be inadequate in addressing the crises in Africa.  The Deputy Speaker stressed that it i
