Aba, a bustling city in Abia state, has long been a hub of commerce and culture in Nigeria.

But thanks to the vision and determination of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu C.O.N, this may soon become a reality.

In a historic move, Rt Hon Kalu has sponsored a bill for the establishment of a federal university in Aba, aptly named the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Federal University of Nigerian Languages Aba Establishment Bill, 2024. 

The bill was presented on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 as it passed the first reading at the floor of the House of Representatives, marking a significant step towards meeting the educational needs of the people of Aba and its surrounding regions.

This bill is just one of the many initiatives led by Rt Hon Kalu, who has always been a strong advocate for quality education and youth empowerment. 

His passion for providing accessible and affordable education to Nigerian youths is evident in the Federal University of Nigerian Languages in Aba Establishment Bill.
