OPEN LETTER FROM REP BENJAMIN KALU 

Dear Party men and constituents, thanks for all your kind words and support on our award as “ THE MOST OUTSTANDING REPRESENTATIVE OF THE YEAR  2022” by the Democracy heroes award organisers during their 10th a anniversary celebration at the Congress hall of the Hilton hotel Abuja . We are encouraged to do more . 


You elected us to positively put Bende on the map, though we are not there yet , we are pushing to make that a reality to the conviction of the doubtful. 

All we can say is that the leadership sacrifice, has been, “so far so good “ though not easy at all like every other sacrifice  . Thanks for being patient knowing that “Rome was not built in a day” and Bende will take a while to be built , gradually we will touch as many lives as possible and as many communities as possible . 

We are not in competition with any party, person or persons, we are only determined to fish out our needs while innovating ways to plug them to the solution socket through this office you offered us. 

Like I stated in my acceptance speech , this award and various others in the past and those to come are dedicated to all of you the Great Bende people and that includes even those who are not our party members but laboured for our success because they too, saw what you saw in my person. Gladly I am still the same and will remain the same because there is nothing ; fame or fortune that I have found in this position capable to alter my perspective on life and her issues . In victory we must remain humble and highly focussed ( my secret weapon LOL).

As we celebrate this Bende award , let’s be reminded that the greater award will be when we return the winning team from the House of Assembly up to the top. Yes we can do it again and consolidate on our gains . All eyes must be on the ball and ignore distractions, rumours, in fightings, propaganda etc as much as possible, we have a work to do for our people and we will give all we have to continue advancing the development of our land and people . Again be patient and keep hope alive , it will be your turn soon . 

Make more friends than enemies , we need more in our house than the much that are outside . Determine to be an instrument used for positive change not acrimony and rancour and “wayo” in the name of politics . Choose to be different for the sake of Bende and it would be worth it . 

Leaders lead in truth and honesty life is too short , followers follow with wisdom and sincerity of purpose and in all put Bende first. 

I am on your side so let’s STAND TOGETHER FOR BENDE TO RISE . Congratulations as we win more soon.

EROSION MENACE - OHABUIKE COURTESY VISIT TO DEPUTY SPEAKER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

  The Leadership of Ohabuike Amamba, a social cultural group in Uzuakoli Bende LGA of Abia State, led by the President General, Mr. Chilasa Kanu and Secretary General, Barr. Ikedieze Ekpe paid a courtesy visit, at Abuja, to the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Right Honourable Benjamin Kalu representing Bende Federal Constituency.  Other Ohabuike leaders who joined in the visit today are Chief Martins Ezeala (Chairman Abuja branch), Mr. Ikechukwu Okorie (Secretary Abuja Branch), High Chief Kingsley Iheanyi Enwere, Chief Ikenna Ariwodo, Barr.
