PROF VICTOR UKAOGO CONGRATULATES REP BENJAMIN KALU ON HIS 50TH BIRTHDAY

Prof. Victor Ukaogo,  convener  of ASEPP  Congratulates House Spokeswoman, Benjamin Kalu at 50

The convener of Association of south east professors and professionals (ASEPP) and a vocal advocate  of good governance,  Prof. Victor Ukaogo  has warmly congratulated  the Spokesman of the House of representatives  as he turns 50 yesterday. 

Speaking with reporters in Nsukka on   a media chat to promote the forthcoming celebration  of 40 years of Bob Marley 's death coming up in the University of Nigeria,  the professor of history and International relations hailed the the ideals of the reggae maestro especially how those ideals has spurred campaigners of social justice in keeping the governments under watch and pressure.

 The Bob Marley day holding on the 11th of may 2021 will feature great artistes including Oge Kimono, Ras Kimono's daughter  who will receive  a posthumous  award for the late father.

Professor Ukaogo used the opportunity of the media  chat to congratulate  Hon Ben Kalu  for his attainment of the golden age of 50 which he referred to as the age of wisdom and boldness and  prayed that this attainment will further embolden and strengthen him to attempt  that which he considers impossible. 

The  convener of Bob Marley day in  UNN, Dr Uche Okonkwo,  a senior lecturer and reggae artiste said the event will be memorable and eventful as it will synegise intellectual outpouring of  academics and the crooning renditions  of reggae musicians in the region and beyond even as Oge Kimono leads a cream of reggae enthusiasts and artistes into Nsukka  from Lagos and Abuja.
