NIGERIAN IMMIGRATION SET TO BUILD A DIVISIONAL OFFICE IN BENDE

The nigerian immigration boss in Abia State on Tuesday payed a working visit to Bende LGA with his entourage.

The visit was at the instance of the controller general of the Nigerian Immigration service to assertain the true location of the proposed divisional office in Bende.

On arrival, the immigration boss in Abia State S. O Ingini went straight to the country home of Rep. Benjamin Kalu the spokesman of the house of representatives, who took him on a tour of the project site.

Rep Benjamin Kalu being a native of Bende, knows the terrain very well which prompted the Controller general of the Nigerian Immigration service to direct the immigration boss in Abia State to visit the law maker in his country home.

Plereminary work on the project site is billed to commence immediately while the contractor will relocate to Bende to begin the full scale work in two weeks.

Rep. Benjamin Kalu who attracted the project to Bende assured the immigration boss that the people of Bende will give full cooperation to the contractor and assist him in completing the project in record time.

In his response, the immigration boss thanked Rep Benjamin Kalu for his cooperation and assistance in securing the land and promised to make jobs available to the people of Bende.
