The Member representing Bende Federal Constituency in the National Assembly Rep. Benjamin Kalu the spokesman of the house of representatives, was on Wednesday given an on the field tutoring by the Senate Chief Whip H.E Dr Orji Uzor Kalu.

It might interest you to know that both legislators are from the same local government area and are constantly working together to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Bende Federal Constituency and the entire Abia North senatorial district.


By working together, they have been able to achieve great feats because today, H.E Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has projects scattered across the entire Abia North senatorial district, while Rep Benjamin Kalu has his own Constituency projects evenly shared amongst the 13 wards that makes up Bende Federal Constituency.

That they work closely together is what Bende people are benefiting from. 

H.E Dr Orji Uzor Kalu is the leader who seeks even the opinion of those he is leading. He is a man who is not afraid of constructive criticisms as long as this drives efficiency, it does not matter where it is coming from.

This team work is a typical example of what is lacking in igbo land. It might also interest you to know that they have been like this for 19 years, even when they had no political office? Indeed Abia North is blessed to have leaders who can work in synergy for the betterment of the people.


We are all watching and learning in the values of true  loyalty and dependable leadership.

EROSION MENACE - OHABUIKE COURTESY VISIT TO DEPUTY SPEAKER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

  The Leadership of Ohabuike Amamba, a social cultural group in Uzuakoli Bende LGA of Abia State, led by the President General, Mr. Chilasa Kanu and Secretary General, Barr. Ikedieze Ekpe paid a courtesy visit, at Abuja, to the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Right Honourable Benjamin Kalu representing Bende Federal Constituency.  Other Ohabuike leaders who joined in the visit today are Chief Martins Ezeala (Chairman Abuja branch), Mr. Ikechukwu Okorie (Secretary Abuja Branch), High Chief Kingsley Iheanyi Enwere, Chief Ikenna Ariwodo, Barr.
