COVID-19: MR NWABUEZE IHEONUNEKWU DOLES OUT GIFTS TO UHU NDI OWORIE COMMUNITY IN AMAMBA UZUAKOLI, ABIA STATE.
It was indeed a joyous Saturday in Uhu Ndi Oworie Community as Mr Nwabueze Iheonunekwu distributed bags of rice, cartons of Tummy-Tummy noodles, power oil, onions satchet tomatoes to the community to help cushion the effects of the lockdown occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic. Mr Nwabueze Iheonunekwu currently resides in America and in his philanthropic nature has decided to alleviate the plight of the community brought about by the covid 19 lockdown. This is the second set of food items being sent to the community by Mr Nwabueze Iheonunekwu. While speaking to some members of the community, Town CRIER Magazine discovered that the member representing Bende south constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly is from Uzuakoli. Mr John madukwo a member of the community said that their representatives Both in the state and federal house of Representatives have failed to provide any palliatives to cushion the effects the hardship brought about by the covid 19 lockdown. Another member of the community Mr Ndubuisi Amos said that it is quite disappointing that our representative in the Abia state House of Assembly who is also an indigen of Uzuakoli has failed to provide any thing to support the people of Uzuakoli during this difficult time of covid 19 lockdown. He however thanked Mr Nwabueze Iheonunekwu for his kind gesture and prayed for God to replenish him Mrs Patience Alago who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries praised Mr Nwabueze Iheonunekwu for helping not just the widows but all the sick and elderly in the community. We pray for good health, long life and may God continue to bless him in all spheres of his life".
