When it comes to the growth and development of a state, having reliable and well-maintained infrastructure is crucial.

And yet, the current state of Ehi Road by Adazi ABA in Abia state is far from reliable or well-maintained.

Just a few months ago, this road was proudly commissioned by Abia state governor Alex Otti, with much pomp and fanfare.

However, today, the reality is a far cry from the grand promises that were made.

The road has completely deteriorated, leaving the citizens of Abia state angry and disappointed with the substandard infrastructure provided by their governor.

It is no secret that Abia state receives a substantial amount of monthly allocation from the federal government.

With these funds, the people of Abia state expect to see quality infrastructure that will benefit them for years to come.

However, the choice of their governor to patronize cheap construction companies that use substandard materials has caused major concerns and dissatisfaction among the citizens.

Just a few days ago, a shopping complex under construction in Aba collapsed due to the use of substandard building materials.

This incident serves as a harsh wake-up call, highlighting the dangers of using cheap materials for important projects. It is clear that Governor Alex Otti is trying to save costs, but at what expense?

The consequences of his actions are being suffered by the people who rely on these infrastructures for their daily lives.

It is disheartening to see that the governor's priority seems to be to save money, rather than ensuring the safety and quality of infrastructure for his citizens.

The citizens of Abia state are not asking for extravagant projects, but rather basic and functional infrastructure that they can rely on.

The embezzlement of state resources must stop and the governor must be held accountable for his actions.

The state of Ehi Road by Adazi ABA is a perfect example of the dire need for transparency and accountability in the management of state resources.

It is disheartening to see that the road was proudly commissioned by Governor Alex Otti, with the Igwe of Onisha and other dignitaries in attendance, yet only a few months later, it has completely deteriorated.

As citizens of Abia state, we demand better from our governor. We expect our government to fulfill its duty of providing quality infrastructure for the betterment of our state.

We urge Governor Alex Otti to put an end to the use of substandard materials and to prioritize the safety and well-being of his people.

It is time to hold our leaders accountable and demand transparency in the use of state resources.

As we continue to hope for a brighter future for Abia state, we must not forget the responsibility that falls on our leaders to provide for their citizens.

The citizens of Abia state deserve better, and it is time for Governor Alex Otti to take action and fulfill his promises of growth and development for our state.

The collapse of Ehi Road by Adazi ABA should serve as a wake-up call to all of us, to hold our leaders accountable and demand the quality infrastructure that we deserve.
