  The Leadership of Ohabuike Amamba, a social cultural group in Uzuakoli Bende LGA of Abia State, led by the President General, Mr. Chilasa Kanu and Secretary General, Barr. Ikedieze Ekpe paid a courtesy visit, at Abuja, to the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Right Honourable Benjamin Kalu representing Bende Federal Constituency.  Other Ohabuike leaders who joined in the visit today are Chief Martins Ezeala (Chairman Abuja branch), Mr. Ikechukwu Okorie (Secretary Abuja Branch), High Chief Kingsley Iheanyi Enwere, Chief Ikenna Ariwodo, Barr. House of Representatives Cautions JAMB on Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma' Case

The  House of Representatives presided over by the deputy speaker Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu on Wednesday directed the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) to desist from any further action on the issue of the alleged manipulation of the Unified Tartary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result by a candidate, Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma. The House also called on JAMB to lift the sanction of barring the candidate from participating in the examination for three years. and called for independent examiners to examine the girl’s script to determine her score.  The House also resolved to set up an adhoc committee to investigate the whole matter and report back in three weeks  This followed the  adoption of a motion on a call to investigate the alleged manipulation of the UTME by JAMB by Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma sponsored by Hon.
