"BREAKING NEWS" Hon. Ben Kalu set to deliver a 300kv transformer to his constituency

For the first time in history, the people of Bende federal constituency now have a strong voice in the national Assembly.

Amidst the covid 19 pandemic, the member representing Bende federal constituency in the lower chambers of the national Assembly is doing a lot to help cushion the effects of the lockdown on the people of his constituency.

Benjamin Okezie Kalu, a celebrated philanthropist, lawyer and business man par excellence, is currently a member of the 9th House of Representatives and the Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs.

 Following much considerations and consultations with the people of Bende federal constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has put machineries in motion for the delivery and installation of a 300kv transformer for rural electrification of communities that have hitherto not had electricity.
The project is one among many other projects yet to be unveiled by the Hon. Member representing Bende federal constituency.

 In an interview with some of the people of Bende on this new development, they were all full of praises, as Mr Chinasa Chikezie from Uzuakoli reiterated the fact that they have been without able representatives in the national Assembly since the inception of democracy in 1999, thereby denying the people of the dividends of democracy. He also said that since the election of Benjamin Kalu, Bende now has a strong voice and the dividends of democracy is beginning to trickle in.

Also speaking, Comrade Chukuma Onoh from Item in Bende LGA thanked Benjamin Kalu for having the interest of the masses at heart and for bringing meaningful development to Bende federal constituency and said that history will not forget him.
